I started my career as a translator back in 2001, volunteering in different organisations to translate/interpret for visiting specialists and guests, some of whom would afterwards contact me for future cooperation on a more formal basis. For the basic part of my professional experience, I owe to Atos Consulting, a consultancy, which carried out a three-year reform project in Armenia’s public sector.
I have also performed various translations in the spheres of language and literature, leadership, enviornmental protection, politics, IT, finance and tourism. The quality of those translations is backed by BA, MA and PhD degrees attained in 2005, 2007 and 2010 respectively. Though the basic part of my vocational education is connected with the Yerevan State University, I have participated in specialised courses in the UK and Italy.
The National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia, the International P.E.N. Centre, OSCE and the Atos Consulting Centre are among the list of organisations with which I have cooperated within the past 10 years. |
