My mother, an English major and teacher, spoke English and Portuguese at home because my father worked at an international company based in the US, and she didn't want me to feel left out of conversations. Though I am not a US native, I am bilingual. As a child, I lived in the US with my parents, where I could practice English and Spanish with other children. As an adult, I studied and worked in Montreal, Canada for a short period of time, where I improved my French, language I studied as a teenager. Besides business management, I have a particular interest in music and education, since I worked for international education companies and studied music for 15 years. I also enjoy reading a variety of other subjects, including classics such as Shakespeare's plays.
