Bio
I have grown up with Deaf parents and am hard of hearing myself. So, I am fluent in ASL. I have written transcripts for my own classes and for others. I have sim-commed (simultaneous communication) for those who are deaf and hearing in group settings. Translating sign language from videos to written language can be tough for those who are not fluent. Most of the time, it is overexaggerated from what is actually signed or not fully explained. My background can be useful especially when it comes to translation.
