I have only started using Trados Studio 2021 a few weeks ago, and am still a total noob about it.
Now my laptop where it's installed crashed. I can't turn it on. And in the service, they told me it will be between 14 to 30 days to repair it. During that time, I'd like to use it on another computer (i.e. I don't want to use it on two computers at the same time and I'm not interested in buying another license).

I downloaded and installed it on another laptop, but I'm not sure how to activate it. I hoped there would be some easy option like 'deactivate on device A' and 'activate on device B', but no such luck. And the guides I found are complicated and vague and not really helpful.
Can anyone give me fool-proof, simplistic instruction what to do?

The way to deactivate and re-activate Trados has recently changed, so some of the guides you'll find on the web will contain outdated, non-working instructions. You'd best ask your question on the official Trados forums: https://community.sdl.com/product-groups/translationproductivity/f
