Inge Meinzer Jun 7, 2011:
I know the feeling! :-) FWIW, I would go with some form of encumbrance then rather than cumbersome as the former is the technical term.
Veronika McLaren (asker) Jun 7, 2011:
Yes, Inge encumbrances are definitely an issue in the agreement in question and I was wondering whether "encumbering" or "cumbersome" (burdening) was the word I need. Too many Lasten are making me feel belastet!
Inge Meinzer Jun 7, 2011:
Hi Veronica, this sounds like a reference to decisions resulting in encumbrances. Might that fit your context?
Veronika McLaren (asker) Jun 7, 2011:
That is the full sentence: Beschwerdende Bescheide sind jedoch mit Abschrift an den Notar den Beteiligten selbst zuzustellen. Teilvollzug ist zulässig. Vollzugsmitteilungen werden an den Notar erbeten.
AllegroTrans Jun 7, 2011:
Can you give the full sentence please? thanks!
Veronika McLaren (asker) Jun 7, 2011:
Sale/purchase of property. This statement comes under "Vollmachten" - authorization/powers of attorney to be provided to the Notar and his successors in office...Vollzug diser Urkunde in jeder Hinsicht zu betreiben, but...
AllegroTrans Jun 7, 2011:
More TEXT and CONTEXT are needed otherwise you are unlikely to get reliable suggestions

"KISS" (keep it simple and ...)
Note from asker:
This may very well be the best option, along with either "objections" or "allegations" as there isn't really any reference in that section to encumbrances per se.

4 KudoZ points awarded for this answer.

(notice of) allegations

an alternative which is not so simple, just in case (although I most often opt for the simplest)
Note from asker:
Thank you very much for the contribution. Too bad points can only be awarded to one answer at a time!
