voilà ce que m'a répondu le client: I’ve asked our product manager to describe what ‘roll’ means and she said: I would describe it as ‘banking’ to the left or right. Basically, like an aircraft – left side down, right side down. |

Les noms des axes étant purement conventionnels, cela vaudrait le coup de chercher la confirmation que c'est X plutôt que Y ou Z. Les axes ne sont pas les mêmes en aéronautique qu'en terrestre !

: But this would be ambiguous, as it could / would normally sugegst a lateral translation: mechancial supports would be X (side-to-side) and y (up-and-down) — what is special here is that it allows a (limited) rotation; x being a slight misnomer, in fact.
