That's exactly what came to mind. But the Arabic term is completely inaccurate. In Islam, Jahannam is a specific level in Hell; there's no divisions in it. I believe the same goes for Gehennom in Jewish eschatology.

agree translatol : Definitely the fifth CIRCLE of Hell in Dante. Even if the meaning is as imane kd says, the metaphor can still be kept.

The Fifthe Hell (El Quinto Infierno)
