Flemish term

genoegenschade

Flemish to English Law/Patents Insurance judgment/ruling, court case, appeal
This term appears as a subtitle in a judgment pertaining to a traffic accident. Looking at the definitions, it's a type of immaterial damage BUT I think that's too vague for the context, which is listed per subtitle:

TIJDELIJKE SCHADE - morele schade, quantum doloris, economische waarde huishoudelijke arbeid/meerinspanningen
BLIJVENDE SCHADE - blijvende morele en materiele schade gemengd, esthetische schade, *genoegenschade*

The last item is confirmed in Dutch as part of "Morele Schade: nadelen zonder weerslag op het vermogen (patrimonium) ; staat tegenover materiële* schade. Bvb. het lijden van pijn, esthetische schade, genoegenschade (een sport of andere hobby niet meer kunnen uitoefenen), e.d.m." (See: http://users.skynet.be/vzw-verkeersslachtoffers/terminologie...

Suggestions welcome. Cheers, R.
